C2C: Chocolate Pretzels

The Easiest, Funnest, Kid-Friendliest Christmas Goodies: a photo recipe story.

Once upon a time, there was a leeeeeettle recipe.  …and it was good.  It was very, very good.  …and it was simple.  It was … okay, you see where I’m going with this, right?

Step One: Start with some Kisses or Hugs.
Step Two: grab yourself a bag of ROUND pretzels.
Step Three: Place the pretzels on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and put a chocolate in each ring. Place the tray in the oven (250 degrees) for a couple minutes (until chocolate is soft).
Step Four: M&Ms ...
Some product sampling may be necessary ...
The Grand Finale: Put one M&M in the center of each melted chocolate and pop the tray into the freezer for a second to re-harden the chocolate.

And they all lived happily ever after …

THE END.

  1. I tried that recipe, both with Rolos and Hugs. I couldn’t find the round pretzels, so I used the small regular twisty kind. They were still a huge hit! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Planning to try this tonight with both rolos and the caramel filled kisses. Couldn’t find the round pretzels, but did find a HUGE tub of “holiday themed” pretzels at wal-mart, so planning to use those! Couldn’t find the Christmas M&Ms tho — not at walmart or walgreens! So will use pecan halves instead.
